I hope you guys have been following along on my journey with the book Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion for the past few weeks. If you aren’t caught up, you can read my other posts here, here, and here. After a month of implementing new habits from this book into my daily life, I feel better than I have in months! Two things that stand out to me; 1) Higher energy levels and 2) Clearer Skin! I’m not sure if that is a direct correlation, but it is definitely something I am noticing now, and I love it. I just feel good and you know, if you feel good, you are so much more productive!

Through the difference practices and food ideas mentioned throughout the book, it is easier than ever to make this lifestyle change and stick to it.
I’ve been trying out some of the different
fruit ideas mentioned and I’m happy to report that I now really like berries! Other than strawberries, I
never really cared for them before now, but I gave them another try during this
past month, and they are pretty good! I’ve learned so much about the benefits
of berries, including, “Specific higher-carbohydrate foods
(including berries and cherries) support your fat-burning metabolism while you
sleep, providing your body with a steady stream of fuel throughout the night.
The trick is knowing how to combine them with other evening and pre-bedtime
fat-burning foods to fuel your metabolism as you sleep.” Figuring out how to
combine these food choices is something that I will continue to work on,
starting with implementing some of the amazing recipes in the book. I’m
especially excited about trying the fruit tarts! If you haven’t heard it from
me yet, let me make this clear: I truly believe this book is a great starting
point for those of us who eat more in the evenings. I can’t wait to share all
I’ve learned with my friends and family! I can definitely see a difference and I can only imagine how much more I will see as time goes on!
