It's Our Anniversary!

Geez, time seriously flies because I cannot believe I have been married to my wonderful, amazing, handsome, husband two years today! I feel blessed every day, but today, I woke up feeling more blessed than ever. I say it all the time that I'm not sure how I got so lucky to find my soulmate so early in life, but I am so happy God saw fit for us to find each other.

Last year at this time, we were on an island sipping Cruzan Rum on the beach and oh how I wish we were there again this year, but life is unpredictable and we have A LOT going on which kept us from being on an island celebrating, but don't think we won't celebrate! It'll just have to be a little later on and we are ~~sort of~~ okay with that. It makes me a little sad to know that we are spending our anniversary away from each other, but this is unfortunately a part of life. I will probably cry at least once today just because I'm a sap and super emotional, but I will bounce back. I will Face Time my hubby tonight while I'm eating dinner and I'll give him his gifts when I see him on Thursday night.

I really do love having a wedding anniversary in the spring because I can wear my favorite pastel colored sundresses and sandals. This lavender dress from Tobi paired with these nude heels from Lulu's is perfect for a spring date night, spring wedding, and it would be perfect for Easter as well! I may end up wearing this beautiful dress to the wedding I am attending in New Orleans this weekend, who knows. I am in LOVE with the lace detailing and the 'V' shaped back. Everything about this dress is very elegant and girly... two of my all time favorite things. :)
