Happy Monday lovelies!
I hope you all had a great weekend and you're ready to start this week off right. This is going to be a jam packed and super busy week for me, but I think I am ready for it. It's also a little bittersweet because tomorrow is my husband and I's wedding anniversary, but I am heading to Dallas today for work and I will be there until Thursday. :(
I know being an adult means missing important things sometimes, like your anniversary, but I was honestly not prepared for it at all. I was an emotional wreck when I found out I wouldn't be in town, but eventually after talking to my husband about it, I got myself together. Friday, we are taking a road trip to New Orleans for a wedding, so we can celebrate our anniversary a little bit then I suppose. Although I still wish we were stretched out on the beach right now like we were this time last year without a care in the world, I'm glad that we will be able to get away together.. even if it's just for the weekend! We haven't had a road trip together in awhile, so it'll be nice to have that alone time to talk, laugh, and reflect! Things in life don't always go the way you plan for them to go, but you gotta roll with the punches if you want to stay sane!

Anyway, since we are expecting warm weather, I will probably throw this Cabi Knot Dress from their spring collection in my bag for the New Orleans trip. It just screams nautical fun to me, so why not take a little beach vibe to NO since I can't be there in reality?! Exactly, I most definitely should! Also, it is super comfortable and fits me so perfectly! I wish it came in other colors. How cute is the little 'bow' detailing on the front? Y'all know I have a serious obsession with bows of any kind, so this dress was just my style. You know what my other weakness is? POCKETS on a dress! This baby has cute little pockets on the front, so I just feel so dainty and pretty when I wear it! This time, I paired it with my favorite sandals at the moment from Target and I was ready to go.
