Happy Monday lovelies!

I love this turtleneck sweater SO MUCH y'all! I actually bought it a few months ago, but I'm just now getting around to wearing it. One of the main reasons I love it is because it is sleeveless, which means I can wear it on cool spring/fall nights with a light jacket and I won't be TOO hot or TOO cold! One thing I can't stand is being too hot, but I do love having my neck covered on cool nights. Another reason I love it is because it is long! I can wear it with leggings, jeans, and tucked in skirts. There's so many variations I can do with it. I think I need to go back to Nordstrom and pick this up in a few more colors.

 Let me tell you guys a funny story about this necklace. My husband bought it for me for Valentine's Day and when I got home from work and saw it laid out with the dress he bought me, my first thought was that I was excited.. my second thought was "wow.. this necklace is pretty, but it does NOT go with this dress" HAHA! He tried y'all! Had to tell him a necklace like that was too much for the dress, but I knew I would wear it another time because it's a beautiful necklace. I think it pairs perfectly with this top.

Anyway, this past weekend was fun. My husband and I had a day date on Saturday. We went to a nice lunch, did a little shopping, and then went to the movies to see 'Get Out' (have y'all seen it?! It's crazy!) Then Saturday night, my friend surprised her husband with a surprise party for his birthday and it was a lot of fun! Yesterday I went to dinner with one of my best friend's to celebrate her birthday and I got to see my little boo Emmy Liz (her beautiful baby girl). I'd say I had a pretty full weekend, what y'all think?! What did y'all do this past weekend?
