How to Wear Blanket Scarves in the Spring

Last Monday of March! Why are all of these months just flying by like this?!

I seriously feel like we JUST got into March and next week is April. Not that I'm complaining or anything because April is a very special month to me, but I just wish time would slow down just a little bit. Nashville weather has still been a little unpredictable, but we have had a few consistent warm days. I'm hoping for even more consistency in April, but you know what they say... "April showers bring May flowers" so we might have a little lot more rain to look forward to.

Let's talk a little about this outfit for a second. I am so in love with shift dresses like this because they can be dressed up or down and with so many different accessories, it can look like a totally different piece without trying too much. "Effortless Chic" is my middle name y'all. Can you believe this dress was only $10?! I bought it from the Wish app and let me just tell you, it's hit or miss with them most of the time and you have to have patience because it can take forEVER for your package to come, but for $10, I really liked this dress so I went for it! They had lots of different colors, I wish I had bought more.

Now, talking about my beautiful scarf. I hadn't really gotten much wear out of my blanket scarves this season. I don't really know why, but probably because Nashville weather has been so unpredictable and I just never knew if it would be cold enough for them and when it was cold enough, I'd be so layered up already, I couldn't add the scarf too or I'd die. However, I think they work great transitioning into Spring because they are cute and can dress up your spring outfit if it's a little chilly, but if it warms up, you can just take it off! Win win! I have also worn a few of my blanket scarves as kimonos too. You should try it! :)
