THANK YOU | Reasons I Love Blogging

Hello lovelies! :)

I hope you have noticed, but if you have not, TJE received a MUCH NEEDED makeover and I could not be happier with the results! See, when I started my baby almost two years ago, I knew that I wanted to be a blogger, but I was terribly afraid of the unknown. What I mean is that I wasn't sure how it would turn out or how I would feel a few months into blogging. During this time, I was still struggling with needing approval from others for my decisions. Would people even like this page? I wasn't sure if I would keep it up. Therefore, I didn't put a whole lot of money into it while I was trying to get a feel for how things would go.



Well, here I am almost two years later and I promise you loves, I'm not going ANYWHERE ANY TIME soon. This is my baby and I love expressing myself through this space more than you know! I have learned so much about myself through this experience and I only want to continue to learn. I feel so proud of me because I no longer feel like I need validation from anyone for the things I do or say on here. I'm more confident than I ever have been in my life and I can't thank God enough for helping me to overcome some of my biggest insecurities. There's so much I want to share with you and I am loving my little virtual space entirely too much to quit, so "I'm Staying!", *Jennifer Hudson Voice*. With that being said, I decided that it was time to give my baby some good love and care and that is why I gave her a makeover! She was beautiful before, but now she's flourishing even more! :)

Not only has my baby received a new look, she has also gained many new readers in a short amount of time and I couldn't be more thankful for you guys! You guys inspire me to keep going each day and you inspire a lot of my posts too, whether you realize it or not! Thank you so very much for taking a little time out of your day to share in my crazy world, it means so much to me! I've decided that for today's post, I'd like to share with you all a few reasons why I LOVE blogging. There's so many reasons, but I'll try to condense them so this post won't be crazy long! Haha

So here we go... why do I love blogging?

1. It has helped me to accept myself for who I am, not needing validation from others for my actions.

2. Blogging gives me a free space to TALK... and those who know me, know I LOVE to talk.

3. It has opened my eyes to the most important things in life. I am more aware of my surroundings and the people I surround myself with.

4. It's an outlet for me to share some of my most embarrassing or cool life moments.. some things I wouldn't dream of putting anywhere else.

5. I am way more disciplined and organized than I used to be! Trust me, running a consistent blog takes lots of organization and planning to execute correctly and it has trickled over into other aspects of my life as well.

6. There are literally no rules to this. TJE is MY space to do and say whatever it is I want. Talk about freedom!

7. I get to connect with and help so many other people, sometimes without even trying. That is literally one of the most rewarding feelings ever!

8. The opportunities in the blogger world are endless. You can reach such a broad space easily through the internet, and possibly find out new things you enjoy doing that you weren't aware of before.

9. I have met so many amazing people through blogging. A lot of the people in this community are very supportive and it is always nice to connect with people who share your same goals and aspirations.

10. My blog is like a time capsule. for me. I can look back on old posts and reflect on where I've been and how far I've come.

and finally...

11. I love blogging because of YOU.. you and all of your encouragement, emails, text messages, and comments. They seriously make my day any time I read one!


 I could seriously go on and on with reasons why I love blogging, but those are my main ones, with you being my number one reason. So again, thank you so much for rocking with me for almost two years now. I promise to continue creating creative content as long as I can!
