I can't believe we are at the end of February already! Like this is the last full week of this month and March is knocking on the door. For me, that means Spring is right around the corner and I seriously cannot WAIT! Spring is one of my most favorite seasons because the flowers start to bloom (even though my allergies hate that), the days get longer, and the breeze we get is HEAVENLY! Not only all of that, but my husband and I got married in the Spring (April 11th) so our 2nd anniversary is coming up too!
I believe this is a great spring transitional outfit because my dress is long-sleeves for the high winds and I have my jacket for extra comfort, but it is also breezy at the bottom with just enough legs showing. Y'all know how crazy Nashville weather can be! It can be raining in the morning, but snowing by noon. I'm exaggerating, but y'all get the idea! You just never know how to dress. That's why layering is key here. You should probably look forward to seeing this jacket in a lot of different outfits coming up. :)
Even though it is Tuesday, I hope you all had a great long weekend! I got a LOT done for TJE (wink, wink), as well as I got to spend time with my girls Saturday night. We have a book club and we just finished reading "The Girl on the Train", so we shared a lot of laughs, made homemade pizzas, and watched the movie associated with the book. It was a lot of fun! Have you read the book or seen the movie? I'd love to know your thoughts on the two.
