My husband and I had cabin fever BAD y'all! So, we decided to take a quick trip down the road to Chattanooga, TN last month and although the trip was short, we really had a great time! It felt really good to have a little change of scenery, especially after being in quarantine for so long. I had been to Chattanooga before, but never with my husband just to hang.
We actually found a lot of things that we could do that was very fun and I wanted to share those things with you guys in case you need a quick getaway too!
5 Fun Things to Do With Chattanooga, TN
1. Visit the Hot Chocolatier
I had the most AMAZING frozen white hot chocolate from this place and I can't wait to go back and get another one! They have so many chocolate desserts and treats, so stopping by this delicious place is a MUST!
These places aren't just for kids, but if you have kids they will enjoy it just as much! My husband and I had a great time walking through and seeing all of the animals and aquatic life. You can take your time, or just go through and browse quickly. It's amazing!
3. Lookout Winery
The views here are absolutely amazing! They have delicious pizza and you can get a flight of wines to try as well as bottles. I would go back for the views alone because it is so peaceful!
4. Walk the Walnut Street Bridge
If you want to get a little extra or it's just not a super hot day, walking this bridge is a great idea for a quick day date! You should also stop for an awesome photo op as they blue color makes a great backdrop!
Another great photo opportunity would be this alley of umbrellas in downtown Chattanooga! It's SO cute and colorful, and behind it there's another cute area to sit and grab a bite to eat too.
