This past weekend, my husband and I went to St.Louis because his job had a conference there. It rained every single day we were there EXCEPT Saturday and we were so excited to get out and do some site seeing!
Friday we went to the famous "Sweetie Pies" and oh my goodness the food smelled AMAZING! I'm so sad we decided to go by there after we had already eaten lunch. I can't wait to go back to St. Louis so I can try their food because I can't get that smell out of my head! They were also filming while we were there for the show, so that was pretty cool!
Saturday we went to the St. Louis arch and I was excited because I had been before, but couldn't go to the top of the arch because of high winds that day. Imagine my disappointment when we couldn't go to the top this time either because the tour was booked up until late in the afternoon and we had to get back to the hotel for my husband's awards banquet! SO SAD! We will definitely have to go back again and plan to go to the top of the arch because I know the view is probably amazing!
As most of you may know, yellow is my all-time favorite color so of course I had to pack this adorable yellow top from J.Crew for my trip. I was bummed when it kept raining because I was thinking it may be weird to wear yellow in the pouring down rain, but thankfully Saturday the sun was shining bright as ever and it was perfect for my outfit!
