Well guys, I'm finally doing it!
YES! After being slightly obsessed with a few different fabulous blogs, I am starting my own blog about absolutely anything and everything I can think of! I'm so excited to finally get this ball rolling!
This has been a LONG time coming and I am so happy I finally sat down and made time to make it happen. I guess it took having some quiet time by myself to really get the ball rolling.
My husband is probably the only person that truly knows how long and how bad I wanted to start this blog and he has been pushing me to go ahead start and I ALWAYS found an excuse not to. Now, while my husband was out of town, I was sitting in the house all by myself. I washed my hair, I watched Love & Hip Hop Yandy and Mendeecees wedding, and I just decided to sit down and finally get it started. No more procrastinating. It's now or never! He's probably thinking "It's about dern time!" I know honey, I know. :)
I really think that part of me was afraid to start because I really want this blog to be successful and I sincerely want to be transparent with my readers. That's scary ya'll! To be completely open with my life to strangers and even probably people I am close to. You know what though? I need that outlet! Writing has always been my most comfortable way of expressing myself, so I am ready! Regardless of the outcome, I'm doing this for me and my happiness! I hope you guys enjoy it!
So here we go! We are starting this journey TOGETHER and I look forward to sharing with whomever wants to go there with me!
THIS. IS. IT!
So here's a little bit about me....
My name is Jamaria and I live in Hendersonville, Tennessee (about 30 minutes outside of Nashville). I am in love with all things girly and fabulous! I randomly dance around my house and find joy in some of the most random things. My favorite color is yellow, I love gummy candy, smiling, dancing and I LOVE different colored lipsticks!
I am a NEWLYWED! I got married on April 11, 2015 to Marcus and I am SO in love with him! We met in high school and became best friends and then shortly after I went to college (he's two years older than me), he told me he wanted to try dating me and I was weird-ed out (completely, like I was so not feeling it!). Long story short, after a couple friends and family members said he would be perfect for me I gave it a try and haven't looked back since! He's my heart!
Congratulations Jamaria on this big step and it is definitely a good look. I look forward to seeing where this goes and reading more articles. It is my prayer that God touches this and takes it far, and above and beyond anything you could have ever imagined. Good luck and keep blogging! -C. Bailey
