I love birthdays. Not just because you get gifts and attention, but because it reminds me of how many people love me and how many people I love. I get to see my friends and family and I get to thank God for allowing me to see another year. The older I get, the less excitement builds around the actual day itself, and sometimes, it doesn't even feel like it's my birthday. You know how when you were a kid and you just get that "birthday feeling", but now it's a day, but you know it's YOUR day so you're happy and do things that make you happy! Kind of hard to explain, but hopefully you all get my drift!
 
Every year I try to do something different from the last so I will always remember each year. My 24th birthday was BEYOND amazing! I had the BEST day! My husband was full of surprises and I couldn't be more thankful for him. He planned out my entire birthday from the time I woke up in the morning until I went to sleep! First of all, he bought me a Canon EOS Rebel T5 and I could NOT stop screaming! I have been lusting for a camera like this for a long time, and now I can get some better pictures on this here blog (once I learn how to use it!). Then, he took me to breakfast at one of our favorite places. Then, he took me Zip Lining at Fontanel in Nashville! What an adventure that was! I had never been zip lining before, so I was really excited to get out there. I'm not the most outdoorsy type person, so I was a little freaked out about getting dirty or seeing something crazy (OMG we saw the BIGGEST spider ya'll! I almost peed my pants!), but it was so much fun that most of that stuff didn't even matter!

So anyway, after that, we went to lunch and then he sent me to get a mani/pedi (one of my favorite things to do!). After that, we both took a little cat nap because the sun drained all of our energy, then we went to dinner at Maggiano's with all of my family and friends. I love that place! Food is always so amazing!

Okay... So, I'm thinking my birthday is over. It's been a busy day, I've had so much fun! I'm thankful! Couldn't be anything else right? WRONG! My hubby had a couple more tricks up his sleeve. We are riding in the car and suddenly we pull up at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel! I couldn't even move I was like, "What are we doing here?!" Next thing I know, he's pulling bags out of the trunk. I couldn't believe he had went through all this trouble to make my birthday unforgettable! That husband of mine is one of a kind and I am so blessed to be his wife.

He gave me one more gift, but you guys will have to wait to hear about that one! :)
