Happy HUMP DAY beauties!

Now that we are in November, I'm so excited that the holiday season is finally underway. I mean, I began celebrating back at the end of September, but now maybe people won't look at me crazy, right?! Would you guys believe I am like 90% finished with my Christmas shopping?! I am so ahead of the game, I just don't know what to do with myself. My hope is to be completely finished by December 1st, and I think I am well on my way to accomplish this goal.

So, on this edition of 'Wednesday Wishes', I decided to post my first holiday gift guide of the season for y'all that may be stumped in your Christmas shopping. I will be posting a different guide each week, each time from a different favorite store of mine. Every guide will feature things that I would LOVE to have myself, so I really hope I can help you guys out with some of that Christmas stress! :)

This gift guide will probably be my favorite of all, simply because it's Kate Spade! I am as girly as they come and Kate Spade caters to my girly desires perfectly. Can we just talk for a second about how adorable these leopard boots are?! I have to have them! I can think of SO many outfit possibilities with these beauties! I'm also pretty obsessed with this leopard beanie and this super cute bottle opener that looks like a mask. I swear the people at Kate Spade think of everything cute!

What is your favorite item from this list? Or have you seen any gift items at Kate Spade that are amazing and I don't have them here? Leave it in my comments below! :)

Thank you so much for reading! XOXO

Poncho: Francesca's, Hat: Charming Charlie, Jeans: American Eagle, Long-Sleeved Shirt: Forever21, Bag: Rebecca Minkoff, Booties: Aldo (old)

Well guys, I did it! I went DARK for Fall! :) My natural hair color is this dark brown, but I had the light blonde-brown color for SO LONG, I totally forgot how I looked with dark hair! I'm loving it though! It has given me a whole new look to play with!

About this outfit though, I wore this fun little poncho to the Banana Republic Nashville Bloggers Meet & Greet! I was invited by the some awesome people at Banana Republic in Cool Springs Mall, and I had a wonderful time meeting and mingling with fellow Nashville bloggers! I had been looking forward to a time when I could go meet people in the city that have the same passion as me. I look forward to seeing them again soon and also meeting even more Nashville bloggers. There are so many doing awesome things! So, thank you, Banana Republic, for having me. Y'all go check out the website! They have so many cute new things for Fall!

I got my poncho from Francesca's and it's sold out online, but I believe it is still in most stores. I LOVE it! I can't wait to wear it again with a different combination of clothing. With all the colors, the possibilities are endless.

Geez, I can't believe that October is basically over! Tomorrow is Halloween, what are your plans? I hope everyone stays safe, but also have a great time. I'm excited to say I will be dressing up and going to a Halloween party for the first time in at least 6 years! Can you guess what I will be? Let me know in the comments below! :)

Thank you SO MUCH for reading and Happy Halloween! XOXO

denim jacket

There's nothing like a nice denim jacket to throw over you on a cool fall night! I haven't bought a new denim jacket in years and I definitely think it is time for one. I'm that person that loves wearing denim on denim also, so a jacket makes that easy.

You can dress these up or down, with dresses or jeans, and I just want one in ever denim wash ever made! Okay maybe not, but I do want a couple!

What do you guys think? Buy or Bye?

Cardigan: Forever21 (old, similar here), Jeans: American Eagle, Booties: Lulu's, Scarf: Charming Charlie (old, similar here and only $12!), Purse: Rebecca Minkoff

I'm so in love with this outfit! It's super simple, super comfortable, & super cute! I love wearing all black with a hint of one color and on this day, the color of choice was merlot! It's definitely my go-to color for fall. I've had this cardigan for awhile, but I linked a similar one for y'all!

This is also my beautiful Rebecca Minkoff's debut on the blog and let me just tell y'all how much I love her! I can literally fit so much in it and it still feels light weight, and the straps are wide enough to wear on my shoulder. It is the hard leather, so it doesn't bend. It would probably be hard to carry on a flight as a carry-on because of the straps not bending, but I still HIGHLY recommend this bag to every woman out there!

My husband and I have been trying out new places to eat in the city here lately. We always get stuck on one place and never try anything new, so we have dedicated ourselves to being tourists in Nashville/Hendersonville! We went to a place here in The Gulch called Burger Republic and OH MY GOSH these burgers were so good! If you're in the city, you'll definitely have to go check it out!

When I say that I am OBSESSED with shift dresses, I think it's an understatement! I don't know what it is, but here recently I've been wanting to wear these super cute, flow-y, long-sleeved shift dresses! They are so comfortable and I can wear them with just about any shoe. I wore these dresses in the late summer with sandals, I'm wearing them now with riding boots, and in the winter I can wear them with tights and boots!

The honest truth is that I really just don't like pants! I mean, I own a LOT of jeans and I do like them during certain times, and leggings are comfortable too, but if I can find any way to get away from wearing pants, I will do it. Also ladies, we all know during that 'visit from Aunt Flo', we always feel just fat and uncomfortable! Shift dresses allow us to be cute and comfortable at the same time. It's a win win!

I do not own any of the dresses above, but I love them ALL which is why they are on my wish list for this Wednesday! I'm trying SO HARD to stop shopping for myself until after Christmas, so I'm hoping SOMEONE will read this blog post and surprise me on Christmas morning! :) I guess we shall see huh?!

Thanks so much for reading! XOXO

Dress: Francesca's (old, similar and this one has pockets!), Scarf: Charming Charlie, Boots: Tory Burch, Sunglasses: Charming Charlie

Hey y'all! Man, we have had some beautiful Tennessee days here lately! I am loving this weather I seriously don't want it to ever end. It gives me the perfect excuse to wear cute light-weight scarves, let my hair blow in the wind and break out my classic shift dresses. Ah, the shift dress! One of my favorite things EVER! You can dress it up, you can dress it down; it is literally a NEED for every girls closet. The one I am wearing is a little old, but the one I tagged is super cute and similar! I actually think I want the black one.
I wore this outfit to work and I was comfortable, yet cute all day long. Also, I finally got my chocolate brown boots I've been lusting over forever! Well actually, I bought these a long time ago during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but it wasn't until recently that I was able to finally wear them. When I finally put them on the first time, they hurt my feet SO BAD after just a few hours, so naturally I was ready to return them! The associates at Nordstrom were really nice and she ordered me a half-size up to try and I am so glad she suggested that because these work great and now I can finally enjoy them!

I've been trying to talk my husband into going to a pumpkin patch with me before the month is over, but he's really not that into it! Any suggestions on how I can get him in the "autumn spirit"!?

Thank you so much for reading! XOXO

Cardigan: Charming Charlie (old), Hat: Charming Charlie, Boots: Steve Madden, Leggings: Zella

Hey ya'll! HAPPY MONDAY! :)

I hope you all had a great weekend and you stayed warm! Here in Nashville, the temperature definitely dropped this weekend and I was dressing warmer! Gosh, I love Fall! Because when I step out of my house I'm always like "Geez, it's cold out here", but once I get into the street, the sun is shining bright and it balances the cool air perfectly.

One of my favorite things about this blog is finding different places to take the pictures. It allows my husband and I to explore our neighborhood and the city! When we took these pictures, we found a really cool railroad track that I hope to take pictures on one of these days! He was telling me that it was an active track and I was like that's okay! When we hear the train coming we will start running! (haha that rhymes right?!) :)

Anyway, this is one of my all-time favorite cardigans I bought last year at Charming Charlie. Not only is it really comfortable, but it has hints of yellow which is my all-time favorite color! I love how the sleeves are black, which makes it sort of look like a vest. Y'all already know how much I love my hats, so I don't even have to explain that one!

Thanks for reading beauties! XOXO

Tunic: Lush, Jeans: American Eagle, Scarf: Charming Charlie (old, similar), Booties: Aldo (old, similar), Purse: Michael Kors

I am SO happy that it seems like fall is here to stay in Tennessee! We have had a BEAUTIFUL couple of days and I just can't wait to wear all of my fall favorites! This post is all about fall basics and some of my go-to fall favorites. I'm sure this will be the first post of many because I have a lot of fall favorites! Haha

If you have been reading my posts for a while, you will already know how much I LOVE these Lush tunics! I have them in about three colors and I am going to order more. They are super soft and comfortable, not to mention long enough to wear with leggings. PERFECT transitional shirt. Also, BOOTIES! I haven't always been a fan of booties, but honey, I love them now! :)

Booties are great because you can wear them with pants tucked inside, or with a cute fall dress, or with tights and a skirt. The options are limitless! I don't have a whole lot of booties right now, but trust me when I say I will be stocking up.

Last but not least, I want to talk about the blanket scarf! Oh, what a perfect piece to tie any outfit together, not to mention they will keep you warm! Blanket scarves are great because you can tie them around your neck for a cozy look, or you can wear them as a poncho and change it all the way up. You can wear the same shirt five times, but if you have a couple different blanket scarves (or just thick scarves for that matter), then your whole look is transformed! Cool huh?!

Thanks for reading y'all! XOXO
