Friday Facts, Feelings & Favs

Happy Friday ladies and gents!

Today, I wanted to recycle and revamp a section of Through Jam's Eyes that I used to have a couple forever's ago. Once upon a time, I used to post my "Friday Favorite's" every week and it would consist of whatever I was loving at that given time. I want to start that back, except now I'm going to call it my "Friday Facts", and I will have different categories of things going on in my life currently, random thoughts in my head, as well as some other fun things I'm loving, etc.

I wanted to bring this back and revamp it because I realize everyone who comes to Through Jam's Eyes may not follow me on social media, so just because I post my day to day on my Instagram, that doesn't mean you all get a taste of it and I want to be sure to spread the love! :)

So! Without further adieu, let's get right into it, shall we?!

Friday Facts
"Love one another as I have loved you" John 13:34
  • In light of everything going on in the world right now, I need us all to stop and read this over and over again until we can apply it to our every day lives. Jesus loves us all. No matter what or who we are. Remember that.
  •  Last night, I made it a point to take a couple hours for "me time". You guys, it is SO important to disconnect from everything going on in the world around you and just spend time loving on yourself. I was able to think, relax, reflect, and drink a lovely glass of wine in peace. :) I am going to try to take the time at least twice a month for MYSELF. There's different ways to cater to yourself, but this particular time, I just sat in the bathtub with my candles lit, wine in hand, and a cucumber face mask on. I also had my husband's jazz music playing in the background as well. The ultimate peace and I think we ALL need it sometimes. What have you done for yourself lately?

  •  For those who don't know, my husband and I launched a podcast a couple weeks ago called "Our House" and I am LOVING it! We are having so much fun each week just being ourselves sitting at the mic and just laughing until we are tired. If you're into podcasts, please be sure to check ours out! You can find it at the top of my blog in my tabs, or you can access it here.
  • I tried a new flavor of La Croix and it's really good. The tangerine flavor literally tastes just like tangerines to me. I had a bad experience with La Croix when I first tried it (the peach-pear kind is gross), but I kept trying different kinds and now I am hooked! My favorite flavors are lemon and lime.
  • I started Barre classes and I am LOVING them! Before going, I honestly had no idea what to expect, but after going I think I'm going to be addicted. It's like a workout with ballet references and that is right up my alley being a dancer and all! You will work muscles you didn't even know you had and the moments are so small. It's crazy you have to try it! I'll talk more about this once I have more classes under my belt.
  • I heard the fair is coming close to my house this week and I really want to convince my husband to go! I think we would have a great time!

Thanks for reading! Have a great weekend! xo
