Hey y'all! Happy Monday!

I hope you all had an amazing weekend. Weekends just go by way too fast for me these days. I blink and it's Sunday and time for me to go back to Illinois. Nevertheless, I did get a lot of rest this weekend and spent some time doing some things I love to do. One of those things was shopping at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale with my Mom!

Today, I wanted to share the things I bought in store, plus a few other things that caught my eye and I didn't buy because my hubby would kill me if I go TOO overboard at once. I placed an order the night the early access sale went live and I'm still waiting on those things to come in. Some of them I saw in store, so I went ahead and took pictures to show you guys, but some weren't there so I'll share once my order comes in! So I think this Maxi Romper is my most favorite purchase thus far! First of all, when I picked it off the rack, I thought it was a dress. It wasn't until I tried to put it over my head that I realized it was not going to work because it's a romper! Haha! But as soon as I tried it on, my mom and I both agreed I had to have it!

So if you have been following TJE for a while now, you should already know that yellow is my favorite color, so anything yellow will INSTANTLY make me so happy! This sweater is one of the items I ordered online, but when I saw it in the store I just HAD to try it on because I was itching to see how it felt and looked on. LOVE! Just LOVE! Can't wait until mine gets here! Oh, it also comes in an ivory color & it has like a tie back!

I fell in love with this sweater because of the striped detailing on the bottom and the sleeves, and it has a crossing back! I have a thing for tops that have a different looking back. Super comfortable! I will probably pair it with leggings in the fall AND these jeans I'm wearing which I also bought because I'm OBSESSED! I literally picked them up just so I would have some bottoms to try these sweaters on with (I wore a dress that day), but as soon as I put them on, I KNEW I had to get them! So soft and comfortable and CUTE!

Okay so this green sweater is another item I ordered, but saw it in store so I tried it on. The size I'm wearing in this picture is a large, but I ordered a small because I remember last year the cardigans ran really big! I'm kind of liking how this oversized look feels, so I may be returning the small once I get it for this large. However, this green color was selling out REALLY FAST,  so if you like it better get it! I also really liked this striped tee, but I didn't buy it! Comes in a couple different colors, it's long sleeves, and it's perfect for layering in the fall/winter months.

So you may remember this blouse from my post on Friday, but I actually didn't buy it then. I posted it because I thought it was cute, but wasn't sure how it would look on me so I didn't order it. However, when I saw it in the store, I tried it on and fell in love! Definitely purchased this top and it comes in other colors, so I may eventually get another one! Super comfortable, but I should have known because it's Lush and I LOVE Lush blouses! Oh, speaking of comfortable, these jeans are EVERYTHING and are on sale right now for under $40! Sorry guys, they are sold out at the moment, but I'm sure they will restock when the sale is completely public!

Lush Surplice Cold Shoulder Blouse - SALE PRICE: $29.90 | AFTER SALE: $45

This blouse is SO cute y'all! Again, it is by Lush so you KNOW I'm loving it! It comes in five different colors and patterns and these ruffle sleeves are just so adorable! I didn't buy this, but I may buy one of the patterned ones later, like the black and white polka dots! :)

Another Lush love, this blouse is comfortable, off the shoulder, AND under $30 right now! It comes in four different colors and it is perfect to layer with cardigans or wear it by itself. I didn't buy, but I LOVE! See how I paired them with cardigans below!

Y'all... this ruffle cardigan! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! It's a little heavier, so perfect for chilly fall nights and it is cute! Comes in this lavender color and black, but if I end up buying it, it'll definitely be in this lavender!

Topshop Layered Ruffle Sleeve Cardigan - SALE PRICE: $55.90 | AFTER SALE: $85

This cardigan is probably one of the softest cardigans I've ever purchased. I didn't plan on getting it when I tried it on, I just wanted a layering piece, but I LOVED how it felt on my skin! It is softer than the green one a few pictures up, but also a little more light weight. It comes in three neutral colors right now and I might have to get the black one. You can never have too many cardigans in the fall/winter!

Okay lovelies, so now let's talk about some of the shoes and purses I saw in store that I NEED in my closet! I haven't bought any shoes or accessories this year during the sale, but I have plenty time and so do you! Remember, the key is to buy staple pieces that you can wear over and over in many different ways during the fall/winters months for versatility.

 Really loving these Slide Loafers by Halogen! I think they would be really cute with jeans or leggings throughout the colder seasons. Of course, I really love anything with animal print.

 Okay, so I NEED these Tory Burch black boots in my life like... yesterday! I tried to talk my Mom into buying them for me, but it didn't work (at least not yet haha) and my husband is definitely giving me the firm "NO" on this one, so I guess I will be on my own! I've been holding off, but I think I'm going to have to go ahead and drop the money on these because I love my brown Tory Burch boots so much and I need some new black riding boots. Plus, at this price?! Can't beat it!

These booties are so cute and they are suede, but water proof! Booties are my go to in the fall months because they can dress up any outfit, but your feet won't be crying like they would if you had on high heels! I really want this "mushroom" color because I don't have any shoes that color!

 So I really like all of these Tory Burch purses, but the one I am dying to own is this suede satchel in the wine color! PERFECT for fall! Probably won't be buying it, but it's okay to drool right?!

SUPER obsessed with the detailing in this Rebecca Minkoff Purse! I love the colors and how different it looks. I'm all about statement pieces, especially when I'm going to spend good money on it! It's a little small, but it packs power, don't you agree?

Last, but not least, this velvet clutch by Chelsea28 instantly caught my eye because for one, it's suede and two, the color pops! It screams fall and winter to me because we wear a lot of suede in those chilly months. This would be perfect for a pop of color on a night out on the town or date night! It's under $40 too! Can't beat that!
