Happy Monday!
I hope you had a fantastic weekend! I had so much fun this weekend spending some much needed time with the hubby. We went on a few dates and even a double date yesterday with some friends. We also did some shopping and running errands, but you guys will hear more about that in a few weeks. :) As you all know, I spent last week in California, so it was cool to come home and be able to catch up with him. I've told you guys many times the importance of making sure you take time for your relationship. Get some dates in and spend that quality time. You'll be so glad you did!
Being in this shirt dress makes me feel super edgy! When I saw it on ASOS website, I just knew I had to have it. When you think about it, on the surface it's pretty plain, but the flowers on the sleeves just add a super edgy, yet girly feel that I love! I decided to pair it with my gladiator sandals, but I really want to try it with some leather leggings and heels! I believe that will be super edgy as well.
If you've been following TJE for some time now, you'd know that I am super girly and most of my outfit choices reflect that. However, sometimes it's fun to dabble in some outfits I may not feel the most confident in buying. Like for example, if I see a floral pink dress, I feel confident to buy it because it is my style and I know it will look great on me. On the flip side, if I see some high-waist leather pants and a crop top, I may think it's cute on the hanger, but I may be a little terrified to buy it because it is out of the box for me. It's such an exhilarating feeling to try new style choices though so never be afraid to dance along the edge my loves! :)
