Most of you already know how CRAZY I am for Christmas! I seriously can't believe it's almost here! I usually start preparing and celebrating like towards the middle of October, but I try to keep my jolliness to myself as much as I can before the holidays for most people come in. Now, it's very much appropriate for me let my Christmas joys shine through!
One of my favorite things about the holidays is listening to Christmas music... all day every day. I listen in the car, while I'm in the shower, while I'm wrapping gifts, while I'm decorating the house. I really don't need to have a reason, I just love it! I've had so many people tell me Christmas music is one of their favorite parts of the holidays too just because it is so happy and uplifting. I definitely have to agree with that, but I also love it because each song has a significant memory back to my childhood that comes out whenever I hear it and it just makes me smile from ear to ear.
So, without further ado, here are my top five Christmas albums at the moment.
#5: "Christmas and Chill" by Ariana Grande
I seriously love this album! Ariana Grande is an amazing artist as it is, so naturally I was excited to see she had a Christmas album. The songs on this album are originals so you won't hear "Silent Night" or "The Christmas Song", but they are all really good and cute songs!
My Favorite Song: Winter Things
#4: "The Classic Christmas Album" by Luther Vandross
Y'all... When I tell you that I LOVE this entire album, it's an understatement! Everything about his voice reminds me of my childhood and this Christmas album was always on repeat in my house growing up as a little girl. He will give you some Christmas classics along with some originals that will have you up dancing around the Christmas tree!
My Favorite Song: Mistletoe Jam
#3: "8 Days of Christmas" by Destiny's Child
ANOTHER Christmas classic! This album seriously never gets old! I was a true Destiny's Child fan and I would have to say this Christmas album was one of their best. Many of my friends would agree that you can listen to this over and over and over again. I love how this album has some Christmas classics on it, but Destiny's Child remixed them and made them cooler in true Destiny's Child fashion.
My Favorite Song: Spread A Little Love On Christmas Day
#2: "Ceelo's Magic Moment" by Ceelo Green
If I could split the number one spot in two, then this album would be number one also. I. LOVE. THIS. ALBUM. SO. MUCH! I was so surprised to find out so many people didn't know Ceelo had a Christmas album! I really feel like it is so underrated. If you haven't heard this album, you need to stop reading this, go download it, and then come back! :) I'm serious though guys it's really so good and it's perfect for any age group.
My Favorite Song: Baby It's Cold Outside
#1: "That's Christmas to Me" by Pentatonix
This album is BEYOND AMAZING!! Not just because of the overwhelming feeling of Christmas love you get from listening to it, but because this group is so freaking talented, it's unreal! If you've never heard of the Pentatonix, then clearly you've been living under a rock, but I'm going to need you to climb out and go listen to them! They actually have a few Christmas albums, but this one is my all time favorite. I've probably listened to this whole album 50+ times since the beginning of November. It just makes me so happy and warm on the inside! :)
My Favorite Song (so hard to pick just one): Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
Well, there you have it lovelies, my top five Christmas albums! Each one of these have a special place and memory in my heart and I truly love them all, just some a TINY bit more than the others. If you haven't heard some of these, PLEASE go download them. I promise you won't be sorry. They are really good!
