Hey y'all! IT'S Thursday! Almost the weekend! :-)

I seriously love red! It's just something about a red shoe, red dress, or red lip! Super sexy, but super sophisticated. There's some colors that just give you a boost in your confidence. For me, red is definitely one of those colors! So, I decided to pair this adorable bow-back tunic with some dark washed distressed jeans and my red lace-up pumps! Let's talk about these pumps! I am IN LOVE! They are so comfortable y'all! I think Lulu's is sold out of the red right now, but they probably have other colors in stock so GET YOU SOME! :) 

Now I LOVE details. Like, giving me a big statement necklace or layered necklaces and bomb earrings and I can make the most basic look pop! You can too! That's why accessories are so amazing. They make your fashion so much more versatile. If you're not into jewelry too much right now, but want to start accessorizing, I would encourage you to buy a few necklaces that can be layered or worn alone, like the ones I'm wearing in this post! Most of the things I have on are kind of old, but I've linked some similar items below for you guys!

 So the occasion, I wore this outfit to my best friend Chanquilla's birthday dinner this past Friday. Chanquilla has been my best friend since we were in diapers and I can't believe we are turning 25 this year! She's always been an amazing friend to me and I am so thankful to have her in my life. She's literally one of the most selfless people I've ever met in my life and she's super smart and talented! She's the Cosmo to my Wanda and I seriously don't know what I would do without her! I LOVE YOU CHANNY! XOXO
